About Us

First Fork Lodge is known for it's cozy themed rooms in a quiet country setting.  Our retirement dreams have come true and we have made it our goal to ensure your experience at the Lodge is relaxing and comfortable.

First Fork Lodge

First Fork Lodge is a family owned and operated Bed and Breakfast in the heart of "God's Country".  The Lodge was completed in 1883 by one of the Costello family who owned the world's largest leather shoe sole tannery in the world at the time. The Lodge is conveniently situated along the First Fork of the Sinnamahoning Creek, and not far from Sinnamahoning State Park, Austin Dam Memorial Park, Cherry Springs State Park/Dark Skies, and a lot of other worthwhile destinations. While our main offering is a room and breakfast, our goal is to provide a wonderful experience in Potter County.

The Owners

Shannon had always dreamt of owning a bed and breakfast, mentioning it a few times to Jason soon after they met in 1999.  Once the two were married in 2001, however, her dreams changed to making each duty station a home for Jason and, soon after, their two children.  Now that Jason has retired from the Navy, they have made Shannon’s B&B dream a reality in beautiful Potter County!

Jason and Shannon, along with their kids, are enjoying what Potter County has to offer and hope to make your stay as welcoming as possible.  They want your time at the Lodge to be like you are visiting old friends.

Please note, that pets are not allowed at the Lodge, but Jason and Shannon do have two Labs, Bear and Bella, that you may see outside from time to time.  They are harmless snuggle bugs who enjoy a good rub-down, when offered.
